Competitive boys academy tryouts for U18 players (born between Aug 1, 2008 - July 31, 2010) hosted at Utah Prep Academy in Hurricane, Utah. The U18 team will be combined U17 & U18 ages.

Tryout FAQ’s

  • Tryouts are $20 per player.

  • Yes. All players should complete registration before attending tryouts.

  • Yes. Payment is required to reserve your player’s tryout spot.

  • For the 2026-27 season, Utah Rangers Academy will be forming one boys team per age group for U9-U14. The program will expand in future years as the MLS NEXT pathway continues to grow.

  • Select the age group based on your player’s birthdate range listed on the Tryouts page.

  • We are looking for players who are dedicated to the sport, have strong technical skills, give 100% effort, and want to take their game to the next level.

  • Tryouts will be held in small groups to give players more visibility. Players will have options to attend one morning and one evening session for their age group.

  • Tryouts will be held at Utah Prep Academy, 505 S Hope Circle, Hurricane, UT 84737.

  • Yes. Coaches will meet with parents at the beginning and end of each tryout session to talk about the program and what coaches are looking for.
